NIET organized Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) distribution programme

Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology, Gr. Noida organized Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) Distribution Programme on Mar 5, 2019 at its campus. The session was aimed at encouraging and rewarding the meritorious students for their brilliant performance in BEC. The event strives for educating the concept of learning English effectively at workplace and was graced by the presence of chief guest Mr. Ian Cawley, Global Product Manager for BEC; Mr. Cavin Coyne, Key Account Manager –South Asia; Ms. Neema Agarwal-Additional Managing Director – NIET; Dr. R K Ranjan- Director- NIET, HOD’s, faculties, B. Tech Students from all streams, and many more attended the session.

In November 2018, 214 Students appeared for the BEC preliminary exam in NIET out of which 195 Students have successfully passed the exam; 46 Students with merit and 7 with Distinction. Overall, 93% of the students have successfully qualified the BEC exam that shows the capability of one to communicate confidently in English in a business environment. NIET started its journey with BEC as an authorized exam centre of all Cambridge English Exams. In fact, NIET is the only Cambridge authorized centre in whole Uttar Pradesh and in Greater Noida.
Mr. Ian Cawley presented the certificates of appreciation to the qualified students of NIET. NIET not only provides free training to its students for all the Cambridge English exams but also cater free books, notes, online support & apps, free exam registration to their students in order to give immense handholding to the students to pass the BEC exam. The institute is an open centre for all the Cambridge English Exams; therefore, students from other colleges can also come and give the Cambridge exams. NIET centre is known to deliver high –quality, secure English Language Exams and has a team of the trained and certified trainers and examiners to conduct all high stack Cambridge exams throughout the year.
