Old Friends
By: Bruce Levine
Every time I hear from an
Old friend
I think about my life Old Friends
Years go by
Twenty years – Thirty years – Fifty years
And yet we pick up
Like it was last week
True friends are friends for life
True friends have no bound’ries
Time and place has no influence
True friends find each other
No one can match them up
No one can predict what makes a friendship
Friends are simply friends
Old friends must be cherished
Because friends are few
And old friends are fewer by far
And old friends are forever
Beautiful poem on friendship-a pleasure to read today.
Happy Writing,
