The Shared Path

Life is a fast-moving race,
Where everyone’s on the run.
Can we lie to ourselves and claim,
That we’re different from everyone?

We’re just like the rest in this chase,
Holding on to our own pace.
When we feel a bit worn out,
We pause for a moment, no doubt.

Looking ahead, we see some ahead,
Turning back, we see those behind.
Is there something special we have,
Or are we just like them in kind?

The truth is clear in this life we live,
No one knows, and nothing is lost.
What happens in life is meant to be,
That’s the way, no matter the cost.

The Divine Design

The sun never complains of its fate,
Burning brightly in the sky so high.
The moon doesn’t question its own state,
Despite the blemishes it can’t deny.

The rose finds love with the thorn,
Living side by side in harmony.
The sea meets the shore every morn,
In an endless dance of destiny.

Yet man alone grumbles every day,
Questioning his lot with every breath.
Why must I stumble on my way,
Forgetting to rise, fearing death?

Everyone else thanks the divine,
For the gifts and trials they receive.
Why can’t I, too, see the design,
And embrace my fate and truly believe?
