ADHD? And other conquests.

Like a cat
I’m neither here, nor there.

At best I am
an all nighter beast.

And if you look

you may see me studying you,

Each curve of your brow

I decipher

to what really lies beneath.

I revel in the hunt of it

danger circling inch by inch,

my cat-like claws clinging

to what all this could be.

Sometimes
I convince myself
that I’m no little miss

and my prowl is just one thing

that no one really hears,

But at night

when the world is fast asleep,

I pounce!

And there it is –

the lioness.

Or, the ADHD?
