Poem: Enlightenment
By: Shilpa Jayshankar
I brush away my abstract thoughts,
That had ceased my ingenuity
I free my fright,
That had only hindered my chore
I halt my fret about the un-enlightenment
That had disallowed me from doing anything!
I stop praying,
Because, I started to have faith in myself
I get my mind off the illusion
Because, I learned it can only rest in peace then
I standstill my dreary imaginations
I could then just imagine and that seemed unexciting
I break the barrier of “only hoping”,
Awake the “adroitness”
Let all the encrusted thoughts crystal-clear the line
And there! I would foresee my path,
I Spread my wings and fly voluntarily
I can now reach the destination!
