O soul, there comes the joyous Eid after Ramadan fasting
You sacrifice yourself; follow Divine calling.
For the Almighty are all your gold, silver and palaces;
Pay zakat to awaken the dormant Muslims.
O soul, there comes the joyous Eid after Ramadan fasting.
Perform the Eid prayer, O soul, at that Eid ground
Where all gallant Muslims were martyred.
O soul, there comes the joyous Eid after Ramadan fasting.
Today forget who are friends and foes – shake all hands.
Through your love make the entire world Islam’s followers.
O soul, there comes the joyous Eid after Ramadan fasting.
Give charity to those who are fasting lifelong, starving-
Who are the poor, the orphans and the destitute.
O soul, there comes the joyous Eid after Ramadan fasting
You sacrifice yourself; follow Divine calling.
Serve sweets of monotheism on the tender heart-tray; The Prophet will accept your invitation fervently. O soul, there comes the joyous Eid after Ramadan fasting.
They pelted you lifelong with bricks and stones Build the House of Love with which.
