Poem: Dream Machinations
By: G Dean Manuel
Close your eyes,
dream a dream,
let loose thy lies,
burst reality’s seem.
Crystal clarity,
within darkness enclose,
fall short the human parody,
a moment that time froze.
Black falls upon black,
subjective truth is shattered,
the mirror begins to crack,
in a flash nothing mattered.
Through the prism,
everything is scattered,
lost before the schism,
tuck it away haphazard.
Open your eyes,
the dream has ended,
take back thy tattered lies,
and let your soul be mended.
