(for Madhu who was killed for “a loaf of bread”)

Muddy skin of yours said that you are untouchable.
Tarry-Torn dress of yours showed that
You are lunatic
Sparse hairs showed you are no where to richness

But They didnt see your poverty in your sunken eyes
They were nourished enough to tear your stolen food

They were not animals but only human
To kick hard to your ever enlarged stomach.

Who actually killed you madhu?
Are they who beaten you up for stealing the food?
Was it the Government?
Or the media ?
Was it your Poverty?
Or your Caste?
