Tiny flakes frosting the ground
Sparkling and gleaming.

Interconnected
Frigid cold and bright sunshine
Winter’s Yin and Yang.

Cold affecting brain
Snowy visions of penguins
Happily dancing.

Lonely owl calling
Echoes a winter’s silence
Deeper than the night.
