Jupiter and Venus shine
Lighting the deep night.

Summertime soft rain
Falling on thirsty gardens
Plants drink joyfully.

This home of the soul
These bricks of good memories
This mortar of love.

Big Bluestem prairie
Wind racing through wildflowers
Sea of grass flowing.

Day winding down
Quiet evening twilight
Such glowing calm.

Ripe red strawberries
Taste buds working overtime
Juicy summer days.
