Poem: to forget you

to forget you is to write an elegy
when the world rejoices in glee
the bliss is an abyss to kiss
the fears away
to forget you is to tear off
the ears of Van Gogh
I could not hear the melody
the drizzle, the buzz,
even the soul of whisper
to forget you is to pull all
the flowers in the garden floor
and the fragrance will
elope with the radiance
to forget you is to shun
the faith I used to believe
it is to die a million times
in the battle field, in the hospital,
in the house, in the ocean
like a cry in the slaughterhouse
to forget you I must die.
