enhance enjoyment of a meal
promote conviviality

drink a toast to loved ones
who make us greater than we are
ignore our many faults and deficits
praise our few credits and assets
promote our precious image

a flute of aglianco is good
or one of zinfandel
will do as well
to further the cause
of digestion and affability

the enologist is offended
by our dearth of choice
decries our ignorance
yet for the rest of us
a glass of wine is fine
