little girl

To glide across the desert of unsaid dreams,
Like a bird untouched by the burden of flight,
What would it take for that lil girl
To savor that broken tunnel of light.

To waltz on the enticing warm blue water,
With the feet dancing to the rhythm of the heart,
What would it take for that lil girl
To unchain her soul from the prison of her past.

To whistle a tune that soars to the clouds,
Carrying the note of a promising future
What would it take for that lil girl
To let her senses inhale from nature.

To paint a mountain that kisses the skies,
With a freedom that time bestows on few,
What would it take for that lil girl
To color a canvas of her favourite hue.

To talk to the birds, chirpy and cheerful,
Sharing the tale of a valiant princess,
What would it take for that lil girl
To see her story through her own lenses

To spread out her arms and speak from the heart
Her words conveying the soundness of trust
What would it take for that lil girl
To build a castle even if from dust.

To run in the rain like a deer in bliss
Her twinkling eyes cherishing a goal
What would it take for that lil girl
To bury her demons in a never-ending hole

To ride a pony on a moonless night
With a thousand lamps lighting her way
What would it take for that lil girl
To rest unworried of a brand new day.

To engage all scornful eyes without any fear
Like the windmill that faces a raging gust.
What would it take for that lil girl
To live a life that is fair and just.
