Poem: Only I Fail to Teach You
By: Zunayet Ahammed
Morning dews beckon me
To take a lesson from them
Gardenias tell me
To elongate their relish
Far and wide
Rain drops call me
To take in its savor
The ocean voices
To feel its magnitude
Rivers invite me
To view its motion
Streams appeal to me
To witness its transparency
Hills gesticulate with me
To perceive their height
Clouds offer me
To look into their frivolity
The sky enunciates me
To keep its vastness in mind
They all have taught me,
Advised me to go afar
Only I fail to teach YOU
For erosion of spiritualism
And a decrease of values.
