Poem: The taut wire of a horizon
By: Gauri Kadam
The taut wire of a horizon
The big ebullient blur of a sun
It looked like a fantasy, not an intended pun
The watery mirages of the sea fluttering
like shirts hung to dry in cool breeze
He stretches on the sand with a dog’s c
careless ease
His tangy smile half eaten by the sunshine
My heart’s got nothing left to repine
