Hopes for 2021

By: Rajiv Khandelwal

The Greek-Roman God Janus
Pondered all plus and minus
Plans to send all a message
That He will now close passage
To fear, anger and sadness
Doors closed to current madness

Will proclaim a new beginning
All mankind will be grinning
With joy, love and inspiration
Tears will face acute starvation
There will be happiness, prosperity
As Janus plans with all sincerity
In New Year, He will make earth a heaven
With bated breath I wait this transition
