Purpose

By: James Aitchison

What purpose is there
in a world that wants to
destroy itself?

It is not for the world to say.

There is a sequence in the tapestry
of life, dictated by the Wheel,
as each being progresses through
a series of lives. Thus,
good and evil are balanced.

I seek not to destroy or punish,
nor create fear in the hearts of man.
I seek only to communicate and love,
so that each obstacle in its turn
tests the beings on their traverse
to me.
