Poetry

New Lens

By: Sushant Thapa

What do you cherish
After tired steps?
There is a retiring soul
That speaks often
Before it diminishes.
Life is a ticking clock,
I hear the strike
From the clock tower.
I find myself a way
To look out of the
Calm window,
But I see speed
And the wandering
Aimless eyes
All at once.
Will you listen
To that retiring soul
And live differently?
Perhaps find a new lens,
For old eyes!
