‘Until Then’ and other poems

By: Josef Wachs

Until Then

Beware
The end is nigh
The story is near its end
Summer is nearly here
The school year is almost ended
But until then
There is work
Until then
We press on
Until then
We look
Until then
We watch
Until then
We wait
Until then

###

Black and White

If only the world were black and white
With no shades of gray
And we could distinguish right and wrong
Without obscurity in the way

###

Royalty

The color purple
Once was robed in majesty
Yet not anymore
