Seasonal rotation
Spring through winter
The calendar cycles
Birth to death
Time chases
Through the universe
As planets trace circles
Around the sun
Revolutions and evolutions
Cascading raindrops
Showering the earth
Giving birth to the cycle
Setting forth the regeneration
As it progresses to fulfillment
Culminating at the harvest
With time for gestation
As the heat from the sun
Seduces the earth
And all living things
Through subtle transformations
Arousing the life cycle
The circadian rhythms
Sleeping and waking
As the sun awakens
And sets the days to sleep
Moving forward and onward
Toward the next culmination
The seasonal rotation
As summer begins
