After the snowstorm
Winter’s soft gentle beauty
Snow on evergreens.

Glorious bright moon
Shining on snow reflecting
Brilliant winter light.

At the skating rink
Happy folks spin and swirl
A winter ballet.

Sunlit snow falling
Tiny flakes frosting the ground
Sparkling and gleaming.

Bleak gray winter day
Imagination soaring
With red birds flying.
