Poem: Me and You

By: Bamgbose Gabriel

you_me

In your fears
And tears
I share
When you ache
I break
When you are grieved
I am bereaved
I bear your curse
And your shame –
My cross of crucifixion –
Because you are the meaning
Of my being
The essence of my existence
When I look deep
`Into your face
And I behold the red firmament
Of your eyeballs
Caused by this long anguish
I find the cause
To bear the cross
Till the veil is rent apart
And our redemption is complete
