Speaks millions of words
Helps ease one’s burden

Just a simple smile
Makes one feel warm inside
All tension gone
For those who give or receive
Peace of mind overflows

Just a simple “you ok?”
Raises concern
Puts someone else’s pain ahead of our own
Turns selfishness into selflessness

Just a simple action of love
Would heal the world
Stitch the wounds
Wipe the tears

Just a simple gesture
Not that hard, is it supposed to be
Just a simple gesture of either of these
Oh! What a wonderful place the world could be.
