As a child I learned to identify
the crescent moon in the sky.
I also learned that the World is round
but I didn’t know things would be
so different from upside down.
At school, the teacher told me
the crescent moon forms a C.
Now, this truth is no longer true.
And it’s not only the moon.
The night sky is not the same,
strange stars with unknown names.
