Poem: I Drink Hard Enough When I Am Sober
By: Grant Guy
I drink hard enough when I am sober
And I burn all my bridges
And I know there’s a woman out there
Who loves me
&
I will never love her
This is known facts to me
But when I come to climb on the train
To take me away from here it will be late
And it’s speed and location are unknown
It is the roll of the dice in the dark
That gives my uncertainty meaning
