The lights dimmed
as the movie began.
I reclined the seat
as far as it could go.
I saw the sadness
in his eyes.
He was salty
like a plate of fries.
I’m sorry I forgot
to invite you to the movie,
but at least I had fun.
I’ll ask you next time.
