Poem: Never Ending Feeling

By: Zunayet Ahammed

9-never-regret-life

I’ve seen you in silence
Your presence, love and tenderness
Quiver at my heart with splendid touch
And I feel comfortable.

I’ve seen you in the first rays of sunlight
Beauty streaming from your clothes and hair
like a cascade of brown water
That surpasses the splendor of a sweet morning
It dazzles my eyes,
Feeds my soul and empowers my sprit no matter what
And I feel comfortable.

I’ve seen you at noon at its highest
with sheer pleasure
Loveliness of you
like a funnel cloud
envelops me, overwhelms me,
persuades me to go on the top of the mountain
And I feel comfortable.

I’ve seen you when the sun is dying
Hues of your good looks, then, light my darkness
And spread a distinctive smell
To make me full bloom
And I feel comfortable.

It is never ending
The need to feel you, to drink you in
Before my days are gone.
