By John Hansen

Poetry is never subservient.
It is bright flashes of light,
breaking the restraints of conformity.
The elements of human nature bare
on a beautiful pallet—formed into meaningful
imagination.
Poetry is a fragrance of extreme delight.

  1. A poem about poetry is an interesting take. The prose is executed well and the imagery captures what poetry is all about. Very inspiring!

  2. I really enjoyed the poem, it came in a time were we can all focus in something more beautiful and meaningful in life. Poetry.
