‘Passion’ and other poems by Ken W. Simpson
By: Ken W. Simpson

Passion
Contrasts blend and linger
elements of sadness
and the residue of remorse
for a fleeting memory
the momentary bliss of love.
###
Original, Sin
Winged beasts ride the night sky
where dark clouds gather
a harbinger of gales approaching
to clear the sky of shame
cauterise then begin all over again.
###
Ardour
Beauty blooms like a rose
a flame that fades
until it fizzles.
