Jacob Yasha Soffer was born in 1979 in the Bronx, New York, And was raised in Jerusalem, Israel. Completed his BFA in animation at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 2007 (graduation film “Shod Vashever” was featured in “Asif” Animation Festival at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque). His first Children’s book “Pattho is Lost” (written and illustrated) was published in 2011 by Kinneret Zmora. His works were featured in numerous group exhibitions in Israel. Yasha resides in Austin, Texas since 2015.
