The unshadowed soul

By: James Aitchison

I have been asked:
Can one of you change the world?
See into your pure and inner self first,
The most supreme of all human experiences.
The eternal wheel spins all fates and destinies,
Some lives are more advanced toward me,
And I know your inner self from many lives.
Let not the transient physical diminish you.
Be aware of others but do not become involved.
Give of yourself, distanced.
Indicate a way and withdraw.
For they must spend their allotted series of lives,
Faster or slower, as the wheel spins.
Let your path be a path to me,
I am not to be personified; I am the wheel.
