Lillian Maria-
You’re the first person
to show me
true love,
teach me
to respect myself,
others
and worship God.

My best friend-
It’s difficult to express exactly
how much you mean to me.
Somehow, no adjective seems suitable.
You’re a proud lady who knows
she’s blessed
and leads by example.

Like a gentle force of nature,
your dignity and strong presence
can fill any room.
Your comfort and helpful advice
is one of a kind.

I celebrate you with flowers
while you can smell them,
add to your garden
of love.
