Distant Shores
By: John P. Drudge
We wander
Seeking our place
Each fleeting moment
On the precipice of the unknown
Driven by curiosity
And the collective spirit
In a cosmic dance
Echoing footsteps
Through corridors of time
With dreams of unity
And discovery
Through uncharted realms
Of knowledge
Forever tethered
To the beating heart
Of a shared humanity
Across oceans of thought
Guided by dreams
Of distant shores
Faltering and stumbling
Questioning certainty
Wayfarers and wanderers
With a yearning to embrace
The unexplored
Shifting with the tides
And finding solace
In the journey itself
Architects of tomorrow
Custodians of hope
In a ceaseless quest for meaning
Toward a future unwritten
And destinations unknown
