Search for meaning

By: Sushant Thapa

Trapped and welcomed
Forsaken and gifted
Two boats in one river
When one sails?
When one sinks?
Decisions and chances,
Houses that shelter
The blowing blizzard.
Is it pain,
Is it endurance?
Larger-than-life ideal
Way too expensive
For a cheap intuition.
The rose of youth
The fragrance of glory
That keeps repeatedly fading
For the old age.
One aim to stick with
From the first bang of time.
A name keeping virtue
No sands of uninvited time
That gets washed away
Without a close pulsating passion.
