Distant hillsides soften white
Dreamy wonderland.

After the snowstorm
Winter’s soft gentle beauty
Snow on evergreens.

Cotton snowflakes fall
Peaceful silence fills the night
All encompassing.

Peaceful snow falling
Big white flakes drifting softly
Into deep silence.

Shoveling the snow
Contemplating so many things
Summer tops the list.
