(After Alfred Lord Tennyson)

Half a leg, half a leg,
Half a leg onward,
Moaning and rattling their chains
Limped the six zombies.
“Forward, the Fright Brigade!
Let’s feed on some corpses!”
Hungry for human remains
Limped the six zombies.

“Forward, the Fright Brigade!”
Look, there’s a corpse displayed,
Onward for human stew
Limped the six zombies.
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do or die,
Go eat your vampire pie,
Into the graveyard of food
Limped the six zombies.

Corpses to right of them,
Corpses to left of them,
Corpses in front of them
Rotted, dismembered;
Ghoulash with salt and spice,
Into the Jaws of Death,
Into the mouth as well,
None were remembered!
