A Sense of Time

By: Bruce Levine

Time standing still
The range of motion
Suspended
By a diversity of catalysts
Each longing for fulfillment
And yet enveloped
In their own evolution
Personal and professional
Unification
Watching a ticking clock
Waiting for minutes and hours
To pass
As the clock ticks
Yet the hands remain
Motionless
And time stands still
Lingering and waiting
For resolution
Reverberating in memories
And forestalling motion
As the sense of time
Lingers
Waiting
For relief
From time standing still
