‘A Vision’
By: Bruce Levine
Fantastical
Isolated reality
Steampunk societies
Projecting a vision
Graphic novel drawings
And cardboard cutouts
Dollhouse furniture
Arranged horizontally
Creating illusions
Of futuristic fantasies
In parallel dimensions
Bridging gaps of
Reality and fiction
Time warps
Sucked into black holes
Games played
On giant screens
Computers and robots
Creating artificial intelligence
Masking the breakdown
Typed on
Miniature keyboards
Like soundbite conversations
Language revisited
Deposited in pixilated groupings
On miniature screens
Photographing themselves
In divided lights
Like a pool of clear water
To be lost forever
