As I sit by you, I see clouds passing by
Rains dropping on the ground
Birds flying in the distant sky every now and then
And the sound of vehicles and human voices soaring high.
From time to time, the mobile beeps
Making me alert and engaged likewise
Deeply engaged on its screen, I do other tasks
Every now and then taking my eyes off to see the clouds floating by
People around me with everyday chores
You are the witness to all the shared feelings and thoughts
Drawing me every day to your soothing side
Making me unaware of the hours passing by.
