Ten Ways to Alleviate Boredom
By: Bruce Levine
Take your dog for a walk – even if it doesn’t help, your dog will appreciate it.
Read a good book – always a good choice, assuming you have one.
Watch television – probably an oxymoron and probably not an antidote.
Have a cup of coffee – I’m not sure if this relieves boredom, but a good cup of coffee is always good for the spirit.
Take a nap – always a good excuse and probably a side-effect of watching television anyway.
Re-arrange the furniture – again, not necessarily an antidote, but a good way to discover all the areas that never get vacuumed.
Bake a cake – since I don’t know how to bake a cake, I’ll skip this one.
Play the piano – assuming you know how.
Write a list of ways to alleviate boredom.
Put this list aside – it’s too boring.
