‘It Was A Matter Of Lust’ and other poems

It Was A Matter Of Lust
It was a matter of
lust in spite of those
dapper fellows without
the electric chair so
we pleaded and were needed
in spite of scarecrows wearing
oxygen masks in Damascus.
Nectarines Rubbed
Nectarines rubbed nocturnal spasm.
Ancient thoughts.
Who is in that room, the one
filled with sand?
Bony flotsam genteel occipital.
Modern disasters.
How did they get all that sand, you
know, the room?
Luggage
Luggage
but the foot
nice waxy
ideas towards
good lumber inside
cursed museum dainty
anyway
a gorgeous feeling
sometimes
mementos quite
solvent
mixed into
morbidity.
