As I meander through the different vicissitudes of life, my mind absorbs them all.
Sometimes as a philosopher, sometimes as a skeptic, or sometimes as a mere onlooker who is just too baffled by the ways of the world.
Everywhere I look there is an overload of information. I feel nervous, frightened, gullible, vexed, and bullied.
So one day as I sat in a pensive mood reflecting upon my ineptitude.
Like a breath of fresh air came the messiah.
With open arms I rushed to him, letting go of all my inhibitions.
He put me at ease saying: “This too shall pass”.
I heaved a sigh of relief and tears streamed down my cheeks.
I reciprocated saying: “You are God sent. Your words are what fairy tales are made of. So where have you been all these days?”
Pat came the reply: “In the labyrinths of your mind where the fondest thoughts dwell.”
For the first time in my life, I felt so carefree and relaxed because the piercing thoughts that kept tugging at my heart were gone once and for all.
So to my messiah, I take a bow for ushering my life in a spate of never-ending joy and happiness!
