Poem: Internal Struggle
By: June Hyuk Jung
A heart as cold as stone
Cynicism that is second to none
Unable to see any other way
And just worries every single day
About what it could have been
And always wants to know when
Many many men can’t see the open road
Many is a word that only leaves you guessing
Misses out on many opportunities
And worries about the insecurities
Constantly holds back the self expression
And falls into a pit of deep depression
Really has no desire to move
Can’t grasp the concept of love
Too afraid to break out of the shell
Life feels like a living hell
Many many men can’t see the open road
Many is a word that only leaves you guessing
With the change of an attitude
Comes a great courage and gratitude
You just have to gather your will
And your heart will feel full
You have to open your mind
And you’ll be free from your bind
Many many men can’t see the open road
Many is a word that only leaves you guessing
